What's it like to live in Inverurie?
Is there much greenery in the area? Is it an area on the up?

It's a nice and fairly affluent town, about 12000 population and surrounded by excellent countryside. Easy access by car or bus to Aberdeen (15 miles away) and a reasonable (if not particularly frequent) train service to Aberdeen and Inverness. All day to day needs covered in terms of shopping (Tesco and Morrisons, with Argos, Lidl, Homebase and Halfords just opened). There are a 4 or 5 decent restaurants and a few bars.

Inverurie is a really nice place to live. It is really convenient for Aberdeen city (about 20 mins) and Dyce airport (20 mins). There is plenty greenspace around, with Bennachie hills (great walks) and National Trust for Scotland properties like Castle Fraser nearby. It's nice and clean and has everything you need very close by- I live within walking distance of vet, mechanics, gym, hotel, chippy, nursery, shops, post office, playing fields, etc. It has a doctors surgery, hospital, good schools, etc. Highly recommended!
