Well you have made a good start by looking for property on zoopla. Sites like this and rightmove will have the majority of the UK agents advertising their properties, so you can see what is available in your preferred area and price range. You can also utilise google streetview, and find out more about the area, facilities etc on these sites. Our legal system for buying in the UK is rather challenging, and I would suggest that you maybe do some research on the net, and contact a solicitor over here who can let you know their charges etc (I can recommend for you). Please feel free to email me direct if you have any specific questions that you would like an answer for, and good luck !
