What are the pros and cons of living here? Is it an area on the up?

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are, this will also give you a guide to house prices and movement of the market within the area. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

  • Jersey is lovely but very expensive. Average 3 bed house around £400,000. Lovely climate always around 5 degrees warmer than the south coast of england. Biggest employer is offshore banking and trust industry. But lots of other jobs although not as well paid. Come for a holiday in May or June and have a look.
