What are the pros and cons of living here? Is there much greenery in the area?

  • Gillingham is located in Medway. The surronding areas are Chatham, Rochester and many small villages. It is an up and coming area, with recent investments from big universities. There is alot of greenary in Gillingham, the area benefits from many country parks and also a mariner. There is alot of new developments in the area, giving a modern feel to what is already an idilic landscape. please see link for futher details.

  • Not bad it is a slowly coming up area. Two country parks nearby and a number of parks. Travel links not bad. Shopping in the high street not great but plenty of good places nearby including blue water.

  • Ideal for London commuters (car, train and coach), nice parks, Strand Leisure Pool and Park ideal for children. Streets fairly quiet at night. Good doctors surgeries, vets and schools. Residents parking permits.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
