  • Chipping is really nice and much of the outskirts of Preston, village areas. Avoid much of Lea, Callands, Deepdale, New Hall Lane, Ribbleton, Brookfield, Ingol, Holme Slack, Avenham, Frenchwood. Some of those parts are almost as bad as Manchester. Smaller villages on the outskirts are best. Also avoid Chorley. Hope that helps you.

  • Lea is awful!!!!! Avoid Callands, Ribbleton, Avenham, Holme Slack, New Hall Lane, Bamber Bridge, Ingol, Frenchwood. Pretty much agree wih above. Look at crime in most of these area, it speaks volumes about it. Most crime is committed by kids with no parnets, they get blamed for everything. But bad parenting is to blame. avoid the high crime parts. Look to quieter villages on the outskirts of Preston, it ain't all bad. Lived here all y life, just don't bother with the area mentioned and you can't go far wrong.
