Thinking of buying a flat in the centre of Liverpool, would it suit a young family?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

  • Not really, if you have young children they will inevitably want to run around and be noisy as children do and modern flats often aren't built with this in mind. You'd probably get complained about and, under Leasehold, that could end up with financial sanctions - not a great situation to be in. There is also little outdoor space for children - the suburbs offer more space and gardens for the same price or less and make much more sense for a family, not to mention access to schools.
