What's it like to live in Anerley?

Are the people friendly? Is there much greenery in the area?

  • Anerley has two parks, Bett's park and Crystal Palace park a short walk up Anerley Road. We have lived here 6 months and are enjoying it - easy communting to London Bridge (for access to the Tube), Crystal Palace and Waterloo. The high street is still being developed, but once the East London Tube line starts running in June this year - I am sure the high street will get a boost. Best regards, Brett Scheepers

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.

  • I rented in Crystal Palace for 3 years and when an opportunity presented itself to buy a new build flat in Anerley I decided to purchase the flat. Anerley flats close to Crystal Palace I feel are better then the flats closer to Anerley station which will be apparent when you visit the areas concerned. The transport links are spot on and feel the area offers value for buyers compared to near by locations such as Crystal Palace.
