I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

It's a great location, close to the trains and high road. You and your neighbors have some of the nices homes in the area and you are within the Cator Estate. The crime rate and muggings around here are surprisingly high and there are many break ins, car windows smashed, sheds broken into, etc. People seem to pay unusually high prices for these houses and spend a lot of money re-doing them.
