What's it like to live in Bow?

What kind of people live around here? Is it a safe area?

  • Firstly Bow covers a large-ish area. North of the Bow Road tends to be more expensive as it tends to be more sought after area with its Victorian housing, etc. Therefore this is likely to be the more desirable part of Bow to live in if you have the money. South of the Bow Road is less desirable than North, however I have lived there with my family (2 young children included) for 7 years and we have felt safe. Its like most places. If you want trouble you can go and find it. Like many areas, you see a few gangs hanging around but most people are like you and me and want a quiet life. Advice - go north of the Bow Road if you can afford it but south is also a good place to live.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
