What's it like to live in Custom House?
How does it compare to the areas around?
What are the local amenities like?

Custom House is quite small and basically a square - i.e..from "Excel centre" South to "A13" North & "Freemasons road" to "Prince regent lane" west to east. It is relatively quiet. Close to all amenities and major roads and city airport and all large retail parks..Locals are sociable & friendly and always ready for a chat along the road. Have been here 20 years next week, and seen many many improvements, and now only 15 mins away from Olympic Stadium. New housing being built all the time..new school/Uni's..New hospital locally etc etc - new surgeries. There are a great parade of shops with everything you require & more..and also a very very good friendly supermarket including hair and nail bar..Don't have to go far for anything..Relaxed atmosphere and superb transport services 11 bus routes overrail + DLR + Airport etc.

We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area.
You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page.
We hope this helps.
