What's it like to live in Dulwich?
What kind of people live around here? What are the local amenities like?

I used to live in East Dulwich (Zone 2) about 5 years ago. To rent in the area is very cheap. There is a massive, recently extended Sainsbury's which is open 24 hrs. There aren't any tube stations nearby, the closest one is either Elephant&Castle by buses 176 or 40, and the other is Vauxhall by bus number 185, both stations around 30 min busride away. But there are overground trains from East Dulwich station, and by train London Bridge is only around 12 min away. Lordship Lane is full of funky little places, cafes, bars, restaurants and shop. I found East Dulwich a little bit dangerous sometimes but in general I liked living there.
