What's it like to live in Hornsey?

Is it a safe area? What are the local amenities like?

  • Crouch End is a nice area. My wife has no hesitation walking to the shops in the evening. Further up Hornsey Lane towards priory road is less good, and towards Stroud Green can also be a bit dodgy. Priory Park is lovely especially for kids. The area is v well served by buses depending on which bit you plan to live in. The food shops, and restaurants in Crouch End are still good.

  • Hornsey is sound, convenient and offers many facilities; such as a fantstic pizza restaurant Tomo's, Tapas restaurant, tesco express and easy access into the city. Alexandra Park for walks, St Mary church for reading or tai chai and if that isn't enough you can walk 10 mins and be by the clock tower. Fantastic, don't forget most of Crouch End is Hornsey and if it was not for Hornsey and its links, Crouch End would never had been so popular.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
