What's it like to live in Kings Cross?

Is it an area on the up? How does it compare to the areas around?

  • Kings Cross has changed alot in the past few years and is rapidly changing to become more desirable due to the construction happening around the new St Pancrass/Kings Cross Station. I have lived in Kings Cross for 4 years and known the area before i moved there and it's reputatiion has radically improved. You now have some great restaurants like the Acorn House on Swinton St (Jamie Oliver) and a few others locally aswel as bars like the Canal, Ruby Lo and The Big Chill. Alot of major companies head offices are moving there like Guardian, Observer which is good for art, music and food, also Sainsburys head office is moving just behind St Pancras with many restaurants and shops planned to move there in one of Londons largest reconstruction areas.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
