What's it like to live in Lee?

How does it compare to the areas around? Is there much greenery in the area?

  • Lee is a great spot. Cheap because it's not quite so fabulous, but quite a small area, surrounded by brilliant areas. Hither Green, Blackheath, & Lewisham. I lived on Lee High Rd near the Lee end, and it's great. Loads of places to go out, a massive Sainsburys in Lee, great transport links. 10-15min walk to Hither Green, or Blackheath, little longer to Lewisham (overland train & DLR). Good schools, Lovely parks, good shopping. Good sense of community. Re. Greenery - a lovely park, with 'lake' - Manor Gardens. And a short distance away massive Blackheath and Greenwich Park.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
