What's it like to live in Maida Hill?

What are the pros and cons of living here? Is there much greenery in the area?

  • Maida Hill is a great part of London. Taking its name from Maida Vale and Notting Hill - it's central and calm yet close enough to the action. Well served for parks/sports, some great schools and superb gastro pubs it's ideal for families who haven't given up on life as they knew it! ;-)

  • I lived there for 10 years and it is great place to live - feels quite like a village but is well connected to central London - great bus network. For a 20something it was really fun as it is close to Portabello market and all the nice bars in Notting Hill. Not sure I completely agree with the other comment as I had a few friends with kids who moved from the area because they thought it was bit rough around the edges to bring up kids.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
