What's it like to live in Nunhead?

Is there much greenery in the area? Is it an area on the up?

  • Mixed crowd (black, white, middle/working class, arty/professional), great deli (Frog on the Green), bakery, butcher and pubs and all round a really friendly atmosphere. It's pretty close to Rye Lane which gets very busy and noisy, but that's part of the attraction of this area; with Nunhead cemetery and The Rye (which has undergone quite impressive refurb in places) it has most things you'll need from a suburban neighbourhood. It's not East Dulwich, but it has its own unique charms.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
