What's it like to live in Old Ford?

Are the people friendly? Is it a safe area?

  I lived 5 minutes away from Old Ford for 7 years and still have friends who live there. The area bordering Victoria Park is very desirable. As it gets nearer the A12 there's one or two grubby spots - but that's London for you. But with major transports hub at Mile End, the new Olympic Park on the doorstep, bike access to Westfield Shopping Centre and Vicky Park right behind you - it's got to be one of the best Zone 2 areas to live in, along with several other E3 neighbourhoods.
