What's it like to live in South Tottenham?
How does it compare to the areas around?
What kind of people live around here?

Great. Very multicultural and friendly. I have lived in the area for over 40 years and whilst it has changed there is still a fine local community feel. We also have great parks and good local services.

Its not Hampstead, but also its not as bad as some people would have you believe.

Love it. Easy commuting, nice people, all regular facilities close-by. I have never felt unsafe in years, South Tottenham is very different and far better than north Tottenham. South Tottenham is only getting better every day, with new shops and real estate agents being spotted popping up it's on the up I'd say.

South Tottenham can be quite different to Tottenham as it has much lower crime rates and house prices here in N15 are superficial compared to N17 and has been since 1995. South Tottenham's property owners tend to be predominantly middle class and came mostly into the area around 96/97 when South Tottenham properties were higher than lots of other N.London areas. All in all It's a fairly respectable and decent area to live in.

We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page.
We hope this helps.
