Is Stoke Newington a good place to raise a family?
It seems like all the new parents I know are migrating towards the area. What makes it so special?

I have lived in Stoke Newington for over 6 years. It is a lovely place. It has a real village feel to it, and it isnt like anywhere else in London. It has a sense of community feel to it. I also feel safe, so it is a good place to raise your family, cheers.

I have lived in Stoke Newington since I was born in 1955 and seem many changes. The area is up and coming and catching the overspill from Islington. We have several excellent Primary Schools and the best and first Academy School in Stoke Newington. The only Secondary School not to cherry pick and yet they manage amazing results with some of the Boroughs most difficult children. The parks are great and there is loads to do right on your doorstep. Can't wait the for the tube.
