Obtaining leaseholders address for a tenanted property?

Knocking on the door in central London does not have the desired result. Other than paying good money to land registry, does anyone know of a website where I could obtain the address of the legal owner of a tenanted property? Other than knocking on door and asking tenants (try it some time!)

  • The person who knows that answer will be a very rich man or woman! Surely the land registry fee is worth it if each property is worth at least £1,000 per year in fees?

  • Land registry is the only place I'm aware of. Knocking on the door is great though :)
