  • I moved there about 8 months ago and love it. To get into central London is a 7 minute train ride to London Bridge, 12 min to Cannon Street, 15 min to Charing Cross. On average it takes about 25-30 mins to any underground station in Central London. Also good to get to Canary Wharf with the DLR at Deptford Bridge. Quite a quiet residential area - not too many restaurants but has one of the best restaurants in SE London (Meze Mangal) and a few good pubs. Its a 15 minute walk to Greenwich which has a good selection of restaurants and pubs. No sign of crime yet since I have been there, but as with all of London, it is close to areas with a fair bit of crime (Deptford/Lewisham etc)
