  • There are areas of London prone to subsidence. Which area are you looking at? It tends to be a problem in areas where houses are built on a clay soil, and typically the problem occurs with older properties built on a more shallow foundation. Newer properties are built on good foundations and the issue of subsidence is less likely, especially if not on a clay type soil. Hope this helps make your mind up!
