Crayford or Roydon - which is best?

Please can you advise us! We are in such a quandary over a new build semi-detached town house style property in Roydon (small development of 8 new builds) and a detached house in Crayford. Crayford property is a bit bigger and in nice estate but we don’t much like Crayford town centre. Roydon is lovely village and house has all white goods but is much smaller. Which area do you think it would make most sense to buy in financially? We think we will be there fro 4-5 years before moving on.

  • I can't speak for Roydon! But if you meant Croydon then it's a no brainier, Croydon is far richer and vibrant. As for Crayford, it's stale and very dull, there have been new builds of flats and a refurbished town hall into more flats plus a library, a retail park and a McDonald's but it's even more stale if anything, if you like people who like tattoos and pit bulls it's ok, schools and council I would rate grade D
