Does buying the rear land of my existing garden (located at the rear of the building) would increase the property value on my first floor flat?

  • If you have a garden, and its a decent size, probably not. I would ask a Chartered Surveyor in Croydon (might cost you a couple of hundred0 to visit you and say to him r her, value before garden and after new garden... surely its better to pay a couple of hundred than thousands and be stung ..l ist of Croydon surveyors below

  • Hi if you already have a decent size garden, purchasing an extra bit of land would not necessarily have an effect on the vlaue of your flat but what it should do is make the property more attractive to buyers and therefore making it more saleable compared with similar properties in the same area with small or no garden
