What's it like to live in Hampton?
Is there much greenery in the area?
Is it an area on the up?

Hampton is lovely and leafy. Generally its a reallly nice area although there is a split between the areas to the east and west of Percy Road, and again above and below Braod Lane relating to the relacation of inner london residents to new housing in the nurseryland areas. There is not exactly a centre to the village, but there is a village feel and lots of greenery. Schools generally are good at primary but unless you are going private be careful about secondary schools.

I moved to Hampton 17 years ago from the Westminster area. I have 3 grown sons now, 2 did go to Teddington School and have done very well at Kingston University now. One is a BA student and the second son is 25 and is a 1st year PHD student. My youngest is now 20 years old and went to the Hampton Community School here and will be a BA student at South Bank Uni this September, studying Architectural Engineering.
All 3 Sons went to regular state schools, so it was all down to them and the boys, well done all so Hampton has done us proud.

We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area.
You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page.
We hope this helps.
