What's it like to live in Loughborough?

How does it compare to the areas around? Is there much greenery in the area?

  • There is a lot of woodland but the University causes noise to many that live near it or on the way to town. Shopping is poor, lot of pubs to cater for students, near to M1 to get away, also near East Midlands Airport. Not a bad place if you get the right area of course.

  • Loughborough has a lot of nice walks down the canal and the nature trails out to the meadows. The shops have all the convenience you need with now some named shops, saving you visiting the larger towns. The residents have always been polite and helpful with a good night time atmosphere to the larger cities. I think Loughborough has a bit of something for everybody.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
