What's it like to live in Maidstone?

Is it a safe area? How does it compare to the areas around?

  • I've lived here since I was born. It is relatively safe, and people are only unpleasant if you make them be. I would say it's nicer than areas around it. The schools do very well in the Ofsted inspections, and the town centre has a wide range shops around it. We're also very close to big shopping outlets, such as BlueWater and Lakeside, and it's not that far to the sea. Sorry this is two years late. Milly xx Ps. :0 You asked on my birthday!

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or police.gov to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are . You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
