What is a low sale area?

Having had the home valued they have come back to us to say it's a low sale area, which we do not believe, the person who came spent less than 2 mins in the home didn't look at the local shops transport links, schools they didn't even ask any questions. Is there any way to contest this persons view? thanks roy

  • If the valuation was for mortgage purposes and you can appeal against it, you must have evidence of similar property which have sold and at what prices, speak to local agents about sold prices above. The more evidence you have to support your valuation the better. If it was an estate agent, if you haven't signed terms get a couple more round to give you a more qualified opinion.
