Ex Railway village consisting of mainly victorian built terraced houses. Approx 5 from Holt and 8 from Fakenham. Has its own doctors surgery and co-op local which opens 7 days a week. A quality butcher , Kebab and chinese take away along with a fish & chip shop all within walking distance. Briston nursery school is 1 mile away whilst Astley Primary school is only 1/2 mile away. Property is affordable with values from less than 100k up too several hundred thousand. The local people are warm and welcoming and a strong sense off community excists with Parish council meetings taking place monthly. quiet country lanes are a short walk away whilst connection to main roads North and South are reached in minutes.

I wouldn't say it's on the up. It's one of the least desirable areas. But it has a good community, good schools, it's a good location. Yes lots of greenery surrounding the village though.
