Which is the better buy?
1) Detached Victorian 4-bed house/garage, large walled garden overlooking Catholic School overlooking main road, 10mins from centre of Nantwich in tree-lined desirable area at £465k -needs work - ie kitchen/bathroom extension, with outline pp. or 2)Detached 4 bed Edwardian house 20 mins from Nantwich in suburban road in Willaston, noise in garden from by-pass -with very large conversion done in 2007 -bedroom /open plan living areas/garage converted to playroom, therefore no garage, farmland at rear - on at £455K. What would it be reasonable to offers for either of these homes?

Imagine noise from by pass day in day out. Can you sit in the garden? Can you open windows of bedrooms in summer? I myself would try 10% off either. However, it depends on the state of the market there. It's a boom here because no houses are coming onto market.
