Low to moderate flood risk

We are in the process of purchasing a property in Redenhall and the search has thrown up that it is in a low to moderate flood risk area. There has been no incidence of this in the past 75 yrs but we are concerned about the impact this might have if we resell. Please advise.

  • Hello. Ask your solicitor's advice if not already done. In my experience almost every area seems to have some risk if near sea, river or even pluvial flood (rain!). Probably one of these things you have to take a view on. If other houses in the area sell readily it probably isn't detering buyers but you are right to investigate.
