The best thing about Bellshill is the access to the Motorway Networks with the M8 and M74 on your doorstep. Bellshill is 12 miles from Glasgow City and 35 miles from Edinburgh. The train service is excelent Glasgow in 20 minutes. House prices are competetive and perceived to be good value for money. There are sporting facilities at the Matt Busby and Strathclyde Park. The town centre could be better however hamilton and East Kilbride offer great shopping less than 15 mins by car. Hope this helps?

The best thing about Bellshill is its close proximity to Bothwell. This is where a lot of really nice bars and restaurants are located, which is only circa £5 in a taxi ride away. There is also the new express train service running between Glasgow and Edinburgh that now stops here with a new park and ride facility being built. Totally agree with road network location being possibly the best in Scotland.
