  • This would represent either the first or the last property in the chain of properties affected by your transaction.

  • Probably that the property needs to be sold to enable the seller to buy a property, which may itself be chained to yet another transaction. So it may mean that the seller is anxious to find a buyer, ideally one who will not add yet another link to the chain.
