What's it like to live in Northolt?

Is there much greenery in the area? Is it a safe area?

  • Northolt has a lot of Greenery once you are off the main road, with the very large Northolt & Greenford country park which includes a golf course, duck ponds, artificial hills, wild grass pastures and small wetland areas. The old village is beautiful, but the main road isn't so nice. The underpass at the target roundabout is a no-go zone in the evening, and the are near Tesco Metro at the bottom end near the White Hart roundabout can be a bit dodgy. The transport into central London is good on the Central Line, however less good if you are getting to other parts of West London.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.

  • Northolt is a very nice place to live and also the commute to central London is easy. It is full of nice green parks. Being on the central line is very convenient to get into central London (about 30 minutes). It also has a 24 hour bus service to and from Heathrow Airport which is extremely handy. You can also easily access other places in West London like Southall and Harrow. Quite recently there has also been a brand new gym and swimming pool built next to the station which is a fantastic price and location.
