I lived in Norich for over a year and just loved it! It has a really good vibe to it and a lot of people think so too. It has got a good mix - it is not too large, but the fact that there are a lot of students and very good shops makes it quite vibrant at times. Nice coffeeshops and restaurants, interesting theatrical events (especially at the playhouse), not too many Vickie Pollards, overall friendly people. Also, it is surrounded by a lot of lovely places in Norfolk, so there is always something to do if you want to go out of town. London is only a 2 hour drive away and that lends itself well for a weekend away.
I really loved living in Norwich and I really miss it. I know, that is just one answer, but I know a lot of pepople think so too. Have fun!

During my time here I have met some brilliant and friendly people, There's some lovely landmarks to go and see and even the city is not a bad looking place and only a stones throw away from the beach. Plenty to do at the weekends and even on those evenings after work when you fancy going out. Nightlife is great, mixture of bars and clubs.

We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area.
You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page.
We hope this helps.
