I was interested in buying this property in 1989 and the listed price was £265,000 which then was reduced to £225,000. Shortly after that reduction the house was put to auction and I don't know what it sold for. It's a bargain now at £850,000 but what about the coastal erosion??

The policy of 'managed retreat' leaves this property (and the church) directly in the firing line, and sooner rather than later according to the Council's predictions for the village.... That's probably why it looks, on the face of it, to be quite a good buy- but the pain of losing such a house in a short period could possibly exceed even the financial loss.....
