  • Norwich, Norfolk is a great place to live, work and raise a family. The location benefits from a cosmopolitan city with its excellent shopping and nightlife to suit all tastes. The Norfolk, North Suffolk countryside is vast and beautiful and weekend coastal walks along miles of sandy beaches are on your doorstep. The business community is active, proactive and supportive. Business leaders in Norfolk are innovative independent thinkers. My own roots are from Essex but my home is Norfolk and I am proud to live in this delightful part of England.

  • We would suggest that you check out the local Tourism website & check the crime rates for the area. Do some research on the internet – it’s worth calling a few of the agents too to get some advice. Spend some time in the area that you are interested in too – try to get a feel for the place. Good Luck!

  • I have two young children. We can walk to school as they are both within walking distance. Crime is low throughout Norfolk and here is no exception. I often pop down to the allotment to feed the hens without locking the house. I think its a great place to raise a family , in fact since Autumn 2011 I have met a few 'new commers' who have just relocated from London and are looking for 'The good life ' ! in respect of a new business I guess it depends on what type of business you are contemplating. Melton constable and Briston are both exspanding villages and a lot of new homes are available from 1 bed through to 5 bed exec houses. Prices remain stable with no noticable change in 2012 to 2011. You still get a lot of house for your money here compared to say Holt which is only 5 miles away. A little over 200k gets you into a generous 4 bed home here , wanna be in Holt ? add another 80k ! For those who enjoy a good ramble there are 16 klm of conservation walks right on the doorstep. The coast a mere 20 min drive. I relocated here from South Lincolnhire 6 years ago with no regrets, I love the place !
