Moving to Sherwood Rise
We are thinking about buying a bungalow in Sherwood Rise (either First or Second Avenue). What is the area like for crime and are properties in this area generally considered easy to sell on and therefore a good investment?

Pretty much in line with national averages. Considering it's just outside the city, that's not bad. Go onto the Police.gov site to find out more. If you are buying the property for an investment, you will hvae a while to wait before it goes up in value to make a profit - like most places in the UK right now. Cheers Spike

We would suggest that you check out the local Tourism website & check the crime rates for the area. Do some research on the internet – its worth calling a few of the agents too to get some advice. Good Luck

You would do better up the road in the Mapperley area, I would not like it there, but it's not my choice, but transport links are good, a good place for first timers.
