Hi. I'm not sure if you can help but my Nanna who is now 90 was born in 8 Bankhouse and wanted to know the age of the house, thanks.

  • The best way to determine the age of the property may be to contact the Land Registry - and perform a search on the property. Otherwise, knowing what the property looks like or using a picture, you can search for property types online (e.g. Georgian, Edwardian, inter-war period etc)

  • Hi, might be worth taking a look at an old map dated 1851 which hangs on the wall in the Bulls head pub at Ogden. I'm certain that Bankhouse is on there. I know it doesn't give the age of the property but may help in some way. john
