  I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or police.gov to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are . You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.

  Perth is the Fair City, hoping to regain it's City Status next year. A vibrant city with plenty of surrounding countryside. All round, a good place to live. Highly recommended with good transport links and amenities. Plenty of culture and interesting buildings. Lots of History, Plenty of walks, and the magnificient River Tay.
