Is Whitehaven prone to flooding?
Planning to move to the area but worried about being caught out by flooding.

I've been living in Whitehaven now for 6 years and have never had flooding but I know other areas do suffer from flooding my advise would be to check but the general rule of thumb is if you live uphill your house is safe. Hope this helps.
