  • That would depend on where you were planning to live? and if you have children etc. But other than that it is really nice, good shops, location, leisure facilities, people etc not much crime at all and nice sea side walks.

  • To a certain extent, a town of two halves. The majority of the established housing stock is to the North side of the town, on the banks of the Forth. The High Street runs very close to the seafront, and the majority of the bus services go via the High Street. These are very frequent, roughly 10-15 min service throughout most of the day, with a rough 40 min commute into central Edinburgh. There's a lot of new development on the South edge of the town, with developers such as Stewart Milne, Redrow and Barratt currently active. Further away from the High Street, but better placed for access to the rail station. Less frequent services than the buses, but a faster commute into Edinburgh Waverley.
