  Rhyl seems to have a lot of retired people east Rhyl is a nice residential area the west is very run down with lots of multiple housing which caters for the 16-39 age group who live on benefits there is also a fair amount of crime and problems here. s sopping is very poor, work is very poor here at the best of times, lots of seasonal work at holiday parks. Property is cheaper here, facilities are generally poor but its close to great locations via the A55 hope this helps.

  I have lived in Rhyl 21 years. We moved here whilst Rhyl was still your typical seaside town. The fair, the botanical gardens etc, the lidos and paddling pools for the kids etc. Also most of the properties on the prom or closeby, were respectable B & B's and holiday flats, all well kept and maintained by the owners. But over the years all these lovely B & B's have slowly become flats, and most of the people who reside in them now are on some form of benefits etc, and the standard of upkeep to them as deteriorated now, scruffy horrible to look at. Rhyl has lost it's seaside town feel now, if you want to move round here, think of maybe Abergele, Colwyn Bay, that neck of the wood, their local council takes pride in their area, and you go visit any of these places they are lovely and clean. Come to Rhyl and the difference in cleanliness is very noticeable. I have lived here 21 years as stated before,and to me Rhyl as gone to the dogs,that is why we are selling up,and moving back to the West Midlands.If we want to live by drunkards and druggies we may as well do it in the Midlands,we had none of them here originally,but now overrun with them.
