Can I get the deeds for my home with a charge on it?

I have almost completed my mortgage. Can I then have the deeds although there is a charge on it?

  If it is registered then yes, if not maybe not. It may depend on your lender. If not registered, you are wasting your time talking to the Land Regsitry.
