Can I get a mortgage for a chalet?
Am looking to purchase a second chalet for £17k. Have a chalet already that I can use as collateral and am wondering if any one knows if I can get a mortgage on such a small amount?

You would be best to see an independent mortgage advisor. A lot of mortgages have a minimum borrowing amount of around £25,000. But there are specialist mortgages, so I wouldn't rule it out.
