  • Hi adele46, You can find out your tax band for any home in England and Wales by heading on over to the website for the Valuations Office Agency (VOA) and performing a search using your postcode. I have had a look using the details you supplied, and according to the website, your tax band for council tax is B, which is the second lowest of all the bands on the Isle of Wight. Once we have this information, it's possible to head over to the website of the local council to see what you will be charged per year based on this band rating. A look on the site of the Isle of Wight local authority shows that your charge for council tax band B in 2013/2014 will be £1169.55. Although it is important to remember that the new tax year will start in April this year, so the new charges will be released soon. It can be worth checking back to make sure how they are changing for the year ahead. Many thanks, Scott
