If you are considering putting your property to auction does the property have to be empty and vacant?

  • It doesn't have to be. However, it may put off potential bidders if the property is not vacant. Some people sell properties with sitting tenants to investors so it is possible, you just reduce the chances of selling it by limiting it to buy to let investors.
