How can I get a morgage on a freehold flat?
We are in the process of buying a ground floor flat which is freehold, we thought this was a good thing. Wrong!!! Our mortgage company won't lend on a flat which is freehold. How can we resolve this? Any advice appreciated.

You would have to speak to your broker on this issue, I do believe there are a couple of lenders out there that will lend on Freehold flats.
