What's it like to live in Southampton?
How does it compare to the areas around? Is there much greenery in the area?

Like anywhere it has it's good and it's bad areas but the good far outweigh the bad. It has a strong economy with high employment levels and a good number of blue chip companies, along with well regarded university & college. I have lived here all my life and love the fact we are on the sea, have the New Forest within minutes and can be in the hussle and bussle of London or Brighton in an hour or so. It is something that most locals will not appreciate driving past everyday but we have a massive area of open space on Southampton common and also parks throughout the city centre itself, I walk those for a while on bad days..... Calming Hope this helps Matthew
