  • Propertysnake.co.uk will give you the percentage drop on a property if a property is with an agent who will divulge these details, not all do! Also home.co.uk will tell you if a house has been reduced in price and tell you how long they have tracked the property. Some properties don't appear on any of these sites so only word of mouth or a very honest estate agent or house seller could tell you.

  • As above. Also another possible way of checking is looking at the Estate Agents brochures. Some of them use the month and year of listing as part of their reference number. Doesn't help if the vendor has changed agents as many do if they can't sell - but can give you an indication of time with current seller.

  • It will be difficult for a member of public to get access to this information. Propertysnake is an excellant idea as I believe you will full access to data, otherwise without breaking too many rules there is a section of rightmove for agents which gives you this info but I don't believe it is in the public realm.

  • Zoopla displays this information alongside the property listing, together with price drop information. Rather useful.
